It's pronounced "Ledasha", When the Mother was asked about the pronunciation of the name, she said, "the dash don't be silent." I received these in an email…the were too funny not to share!! The Journey
Don’t look up to me…for I have not achieved greatness
Don’t look down at me…for I have worth.
Rather look with me…at the journey ahead of us
Into endless possibilities.

Drifting Thoughts
I have many thoughts invading my brain today. They are the good sort of thoughts. I think this wonderful introduction to spring has inspired such thoughts to develop and possibly stir a bit of creativity within. Well, at least that is what I hope the result will be.
It is a short one today. I hope you enjoy your day where ever you are and remember to take in the beauty of the dawning season. Cheers!

Amazing People
What do you think of when you hear the phrase, “He was an amazing person,” or “she was an amazing woman,” or “the most amazing person in the world is…”?
What makes a person so amazing? Is it their character, their demeanor, their efforts, their heroism, their special talent, or their sacrifice? Is it a combination of these things or is it something more? What is that one thing or combination of things, that makes someone else say, “that person is amazing!”
Now, I think to some degree we can all agree that Mother Theresa was an amazing woman. Her life of service and love to others was such an example for the world. She was respected by millions, she lived a life that most of us wouldn’t want to live…but she did it because she stayed true to her calling, and she did it with a humble heart. But none of us were probably ever fortunate enough to ever know her personally. That doesn’t take away from her amazing qualities, because yes, she definitely had them and it was evidenced by all that she did, but it isn’t something that was ever experienced first hand by most of us.
I think for those I personally know…there are a few people I would consider truly amazing. Yet, if I had to sit here and tell you why…my words would fail me. I would simply have to tell you that you’d just have to know that person to fully comprehend why I see them for the amazing person that they are. You would simply have to encounter that person in person to experience their amazing qualities.
I’ve been blessed. I’ve had the experience of knowing and learning from some truly amazing people. People that I admire…people that I respect…people that I love. I’ve been able to learn from these people and take away something from the experience of knowing them that has enriched my life and made it better. These people are truly amazing through and through…and to define their quality with words would be an injustice to the experience of knowing their “amazing” quality through encounter.
So who are some amazing people you know? What would you say makes that person so amazing? Do you think words can do “justice” in defining those amazing qualities…or is experience necessary to complete the picture?

Stuck
I haven’t blogged in a while. Since November to be exact. A few have asked what has happened…and as usual Life just took over and finding the time to return to writing just sort of escaped me.
You could say I have been stuck.
I don’t like that mode of existence one bit, in any area of my life. It isn’t productive, it doesn’t accomplish, it doesn’t change very easily. Just the same, I don’t like being stuck with thoughts and words traveling my brain and no outlet to release them. I enjoy writing for that reason.
Yesterday, a friend started her blogger blog. It made me realize that I’ve been missing out. I have been stuck…and it needed to change!
So my new resolution, starting today, March 1st is to move forward with writing, blogging in particular. Releasing the thoughts from the brain and placing them for better or worse into view for the internet audience to enjoy.
Hopefully, they won’t be too obscure never to be read.
So, I hope to convince you to stop by and read from time to time as I plan to be posting more regularly. And yes, if you stop by, please drop a comment…even if it is short, to let me know you were here;)
Maybe I’ll get stuck on the blogging for awhile.
