Quickie

Wine-n-Chat is participating in the A to Z Challenge for the month of April.  Today is letter Q.

Who doesn’t love a quickie??  Especially with this challenge—something short and sweet is in order!!

So…I am writing this blog from The Sunshine State. We landed in Tampa at 7:20pm.  I am here with my youngest son Danny and my older daughter Emily.  This was Danny’s first time flying—and he loved everything about the trip.  From wheeling my carry-on bag to going through the TSA check point to taking off and landing.  He found the ENTIRE first day to be a thrill. Which is what we wanted—seeing as this is his 6th birthday present from his Grandma—complete with tickets to Disney World.  He is on cloud nine, (okay, seriously, at this hour he is actually asleep…but we’ll say he’s on cloud nine).

The advantage of working from home and working online is that I can work from anywhere as long as I have internet connection and a scanner or a fax machine.  I brought my laptop with me, but had to purchase a printer /copier /scanner at Wally World as soon as I got here. No big deal, I plan to leave it here (at my Grandma’s) so that I can come back to Florida and visit and still be able to work my shift.  So although I am extremely tired due to cramming too much into one day, I am able to blog here and there when it slows down.  Tonight is a rather busy night, which is why this has to be a quickie!!  I am extremely grateful that I have a job that affords me the opportunity to do this!!  I am so blessed.
