Zinfandel

So Yesterday was Sunday.  A day to relax, enjoy the weather, walk the dog, and prepare a wonderful meal.  Except I didn’t feel like cooking so the hubby grilled up some pretty spicy Italian Sausages, and I cracked open a bottle of Zinfandel.

The aroma captivated my sense pulling me into that first sip. The taste is quite flavorful, full-bodied, and all around wonderful.  I finished the first glass, could not resist the second glass, and as it usually goes with opening a bottle of wine—it was empty before I knew it!  I have to say, of the red wines I enjoy drinking, Zinfandel seems to be a bit “stronger” than the other red wines.  It was Sunday—my day to rest—and this bottle of wine became one of the many highlights of my evening!!  I must say, after last week, it was much deserved!!
